Junior Penetration Tester

Location: UK

Requirements:

- High level of customer care

- Keen interest in it security/ethical hacking

- Thirst for knowledge

- Enjoys a challenge

- Sense of humour

- Must be able to work well within a team and independently

- Good understanding of security principles

- Interest in physical security

- Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, UDP, IPv4, etc)

- Good understanding of Operating Systems (Windows, UNIX, Linux)

- Experience with penetration testing hacking tools

- Experience with securing Operating Systems

- Programming experience a plus

- Any security certifications an added bonus

 

Role:

- Assist Snr penetration testers on client engagements, both on-site and remotely.

- Analysing and assessing security vulnerabilities for reporting purposes.

- Contribute to in-house development (includes training and improving security testing methodologies.)

- Conduct internal and external penetration tests.

- Assist in business development by scoping potential new business.

- Reviewing and contributing to penetration test reports.

- Perform vulnerability assessments.

- Assist the business in moving forward.

- Assist in setting up and configuring of any new internal toolsets.

 

Senior Penetration Tester

Location: UK

Requirements:

- High level of customer care

- Keen interest in it security/ethical hacking

- Strong interpersonal and documentation skills

- Significant customer facing experience

- Thirst for knowledge

- Sense of humour

- Enjoys a challenge

- Must be able to work well within a team and independently

- Interest in performing vulnerability research

- Interest in presenting at security conferences

- Interest in physical security

- Penetration testing experience must be above and beyond running automated tools.

- In depth understanding of PCI DSS and ISO 27001

- In depth understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, UDP, IPv4, etc)

- In depth understanding of Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, UNIX, etc)

- In depth understanding of web application hacking

- In depth understanding of network level hacking

- Experience writing security tools and/or exploits

- Red Team experience an added bonus

- Social engineering skills added bonus

- Surveillance skills an added bonus

- Lock picking, safe cracking, and alarm bypassing skills are all an added bonus

- British National able to gain/hold UK Government SC clearance.

 

Role:

Perform remote and onsite web application penetration testing

Perform internal and external network level penetration testing

Perform social engineering both onsite and remotely

Perform Red Team testing

Analysing vulnerabilities to assign appropriate severity ratings for internal use

Writing penetration test reports, including highlighting risks and recommendations

Perform security vulnerability research

Write security papers and company blog posts

Assist in business development

Present findings and risks of penetration tests to clients
